THE ROYAL GUARD
***"On the eve of her wedding, Princess Vivian lost everything. Her kingdom. Her family. Her future. Betrayed by the man she was meant to marry, she was left powerless, nothing more than a forgotten ghost in a world that never wanted her to survive. But death never came for her. Instead, something else awakened. Now, hidden in the underbelly of a kingdom built on blood and lies, she walks a path of revenge. And when she crosses paths with Frog-a ruthless rebellion that wants to burn the world-she meets Viole, a man as untouchable as he is dangerous. Their fates should never have intertwined, but something binds them deeper than trust, deeper than desire-something neither of them understands. He is the shadow. She is the storm. And together, they will either shatter the kingdom or destroy each other."***

He was wearing a mask. * * * Saved from a rapist by a pirate. At first, Vivienne sees pirates as scums. She believes all of them are full of greed. Well, Vivienne isn't completely wrong.
