Synopsis

Hung chun et Marcelo posent devant les statues monumentales de Kim Il-Sung et de Kim Jong-Il à Pyongyang. La photo glisse vers le haut en couinant et sort du cadre, dévoilant un salon où le couple travaille, chacun devant son ordinateur. L'ambiance est studieuse. Ils sont emmitouflés dans de la laine. Marcelo lit un extrait du texte que raconte la genèse de leur voyage en Corée du Nord. Hung chun le trouve un peu long. On entend « l'internationale » provenant d'une boite à musique fixée sur la porte d'entrée, puis Serge, le voisin, fait irruption dans l'appartement. Il fait très froid ici, oui, le chauffage est cassé. Serge veut le texte à corriger, mais celui-ci est loin d'être fini. Une valise est encore ouverte sur le canapé, livres, trousse de toilettes, chaussures dans sac plastique. Une carte postale de Corée du Nord traîne sur la table. Serge la saisi, la contemple et signale qu'il n'a toujours pas reçu la sienne. Puis il s'en va en se frottant l'épaule.
La lumière change brusquement, devient contrastée et l'atmosphère devient tout à coup à comme celle d'un film noir. Monsieur Bong surgit du coin obscur de la pièce. Son visage rond et ses yeux bridés captent toute la lumière. Il se penche et les interroge. Il a un léger accent asiatique et parle bas, le ton est suspicieux : « Comment avez-vous pris connaissance du festival ? Vous habitez en France depuis combien de temps ? Vous avez fait d'autres films ? Participez à d'autres festivals ? Vous avez eu des prix ? (Il s'énerve, frappe sur la table) Vous êtes vraiment mariés ? » Noir.Todos os Direitos Reservados
