(Takes place after Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. DO NOT READ if you have not seen the movies, especially TTDW & CATWS. Spoilers!)
After taking down the Helicarriers and being saved from the river, Steve is upset that Bucky doesn't fully recognise him. Alone and distraught, Steve goes to Thor for guidance. After taking advice from Thor, he unknowingly bumps into Loki, who is alive and well. Steve, not knowing that Loki was presumed dead, ends up having a fight with him in one of New York City's alleys. After tending to his own wounds, Steve goes to Loki to apologise for what happened.
What's new to them are the feelings that get triggered over one 'sorry'. How will the God of Mischief cope with the Man out of Time?

Sam (Falcon) will follow Cap to the ends of the earth, but refuses to jump off the proverbial bridge just because Cap's doing it. Bucky (Winter Soldier) is trying to atone for his past misdeeds, while learning what exactly they were, but is living in Wakanda with T-challa (Black Panther) so neither will be playing a large role in this story. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do.
