In the dark of night, the sound of a shot wakes everyone up, or almost everyone living in Mountain Village. Colonel Arthur is found dead in his lonely mansion. It had been said for a long time that Arthur kept a map in his mansion. A mansion he hadn't left for a very long while. The Mayor sees his opportunity to get into the mansion and get his hands on the treasure map and become the richest man in the village. To be able to do this he counts on the help of his faithful, submissive Sheriff, Rodolph. But other people are interested in getting their hands on that treasure map. When the Colonel's relatives arrive in the village out of the blue to visit cousin Arthur and find out that he has been murdered, they decide to leave the village only once the culprit is found, thus disrupting the mayor and the Sheriff's plans. There is only one way to find the killer: find the treasure map and decipher all the mysteries in it.
