Most importantly, is it morally acceptable to fall in love with an alleged murderer and rapist, let alone a client of hers?

Excerpt:
When his shirt is dangling from his hand with him lifting it up towards his face to wear it, I snatch it from his hands. Throw it on the table beside me and grab his neck with one hand and my other traces his defined abs, and kiss him with full force.
I thought he might pull away, saying he doesn't feel the same way towards me and I'm just his lawyer. That we're adults and need to refrain from acting like hormonally-driven teenagers.
On the contrary -to my surprise - he kisses me back with the same amount of intensity and passion.
One hand is on the side of my face and the other is holding me by the waist.
We both taste like waffles and fresh strawberries and it's not something to complain about.
Only when we're both out of breaths, we pull away, he smiles against me "What was that for?" He asks with his both hands on my waist now.
"I've been meaning to do that for a while now" I truthfully answer his question.
He has been on my mind 24/7 non stop from the moment I took his case.

He kept on staring at me but I ignored him, at least I tried to. He was sitting right beside me and although I was looking at the board I still could glimpse his form facing me, he seemed to be looking at my lips. I wasn't able to take it any more. I slowly turned to him, he was indeed staring at my lips. "What??" I ask feeling self cautious as I fought the thought of wiping off my mouth. He slowly licked his lips and said, " nothing" as he shook his head " your lips ... they just look so kissable" he added slowly and calmly after a while causing my heart to overreact, my eyes went wide and my mouth to turn into a forbidden smile. "What?" I asked as I tried to give him a weird look but I couldn't stop smiling, the forbidden smile seemed to be taking over my entire face, slowly but surely.
