The life she knows and loves is over, her father is gone, and her home sold, along with her horses, the thing she cherishes most. Now Jessie has to go live with her mother who left her as a baby only to be sent to boarding school with her half sister, what is a girl to do? Can she find some good in amongst all this heartbreak? 
Not all hope is lost when she finds out there is a stable at the boarding school, with an awesome trainer that may just be crazy when he decides to bring a wild horse into the school, stating that it will help the students learn, but after an incident they don't have long to turn this horse into a show pony, or it's got no chance, can it be done? Or has Jessie met her match?
