[rewritting because I wasn't getting to the main plot and it was driving me insane. Also rusty skills!]
"Every hero has had something that compelled them to become who they are today. Every hero has something worth fighting for - something that makes it worth it."
'What Makes It Worth It' is my take on a Boku no Hero Academia fanfiction. This time around, we get to witness two pro-heroes in the making, who seem to be determined to make of their dream a reality. However, will they be able to truly become heroes? Will what they call their reason of their sacrifice, truly be worth it in the end?
DISCLAIMER: besides not owning the original Boku No Hero universe, I also want to warn you - there will be a lot of shitty references throughout.

Izuku could barely handle the pressure of having no one to rely on, torn between becoming a hero and being taught how to assassinate by the killer of heroes. It wasn't long before his sanity began to split. ~~ "It's okay. Honestly, you're the first person I've met who doesn't think my quirk is more suited to become a villain.." Shinsou said. After spending so much time with villains, I no longer thought of the word the same. "If you ask villains their story, you'll probably think they'd make pretty good protagonists. We always see things from the hero's perspective but we rarely ask how the villain ended up the way they are. The heroes are the real villains if you ask any villain, and even villains can be a hero to someone." ~~ I killed someone. I know he deserved it, yet I still couldn't look down at my own hands the same. Dried blood covered the bandages I wore around my wrists when I train with Stain. I had no choice but to accept it. The Rising of the Broken Kingdom
200 years ago there were 10 (I might make it less) warriors that defended the kingdom of Musutafu. Deku, the knight of strength. Kacchan, the knight of explosion. Shoto, the knight of ice and fire. Uravity, the knight of gravity. Ingenium, the knight of speed. Creati, the knight of self forge. Red Riot, the knight of defense. Tsukoyomi, the knight of darkness. Chargebolt, the knight of thunder. And Froppy, knight of the wild. They defended they're kingdom with great pride. Until a battle came from the demon king, All For One. The only one who could combat him was All Might, who is said to be a savior from the heavens. The battle ended with All Might disappearing, and All For One being fatally wounded. The knights were cursed by All For One with immortality, before he retreated. It only ended with the death of Uravity. After this the knights disbanded, never to see each other again. Until a young brown haired girl named Uraraka needed help to defeat a demon hoard attacking her village. She meets Deku, and goes on a quest with him to find the UA Knights, revive All Might, and defeat All For One. This story will have Izuocha, but it's not going to be too much. Hazaezal Jones is a complicated individual with an even more complicated quirk. After causing a major accident at her last school and spending months in a cell for it, enduring torture day in and day out, she is transferred to UA High. There she meets a spikey-haired boy just as fiery as she. Perhaps she can move on from her past and become a hero or she may succumb to the damage she has caused and take a path filled with evil. -- Because of some of the mature content that will be included in this work, all characters will be 17, 18+. Also while the title does say this is a Bakugo story, I am an indecisive little shit that loves so many of the male characters that there will still be instances of the OC x others (maybe some crispy boys, maybe some red heads, and maybe some feathered heroes) hence why I had to age up the characters. As of this moment, I have about 60+ chapters written, many of which are being revised and reworked, but they should be added once I secure plot points. So, if you like long, ongoing fanfictions then this is your lucky day! Also be aware that as I have read the mangas up to the latest chapter and I plan on writing this story for as long as I can, I will utilize some of the newer plot lines in this work. But I understand there are those who only watch the anime. I don't plan on including any major spoilers, in fact they'll be pretty minor but I'll give a warning at the beginning.
