Shades of Love

"They say falling in love is easy. Staying in love is hard."

University student Naeun is eagerly waiting for the day of Taemin's return from the US. Although now living in very different social circles, their friendship formed in the orphanage during their childhood days still remains strong. But then her life completely changes over night when, after a tragic event, she is suddenly the only remaining family member left to take care of her baby niece. As if this wasn't enough, it seems like someone from the Kim clan - Taemin's adopted family - is out there to get them, resulting in her to go into hiding. When Taemin returns home, he doesn't only have to deal with the aftermath of his elder brother's sudden death, but also with the revelation of a huge family secret and Naeun's inexplicable disappearance. He vows to find Naeun, even if it would be the last thing he would ever accomplish.

Meanwhile Kai, Taemin's younger adopted brother, is finally trying to tie the knot with his lover, Jennie, without knowing that the both of them involuntarily became the center of a net of misunderstandings that could cause their respective families to go into havoc and result in them to never get married at all.

In the midst of all of this Jisoo, the youngest Kim sibling, returns from China after finishing her degree with flying colors, hoping to eventually make it to the management floor of the large family business. However, instead of a successful career, her conservative parents have other plans for her. They want her to quickly get married and settle down, if possible to another wealthy business owner. Jisoo vows to chase away all of her suitors and to never fall in love with any of them. But when she meets her first crush Junior by chance again in an alcohol filled night, another wave of chaos it set into motion.
