Welcome to this little book! This is gonna be some of my better small works - poetry and short stories, for the most part, with the occasional dream that I actually end up remembering mixed in. So, sit back, relax, and prepare for a bit of angst! MINI-SERIES Some of these are differentiated by a marker in their title or, in a very particular case, through a certain sign-off. I wanted to take a sec to explain the idea behind them, and let you guys know that I'll (eventually) be publishing them as actual, proper books! Asylum: Whenever I'm in the hospital or a mental facility, I get bored and write! I thought it would be fascinating to see all the work I make in a "damaged" state collected together. Unsent Letters: If I have something to say to someone but I can't for whatever reason, I'll write a letter to the person. Maybe it's angry, or sad, or an update, or just a much-needed, long-awaited hello. And the hope is that I'll publish it and maybe, someday, someone will pick my book up off a shelf and find that letter I write to them. Would sending them a letter be more effective? Yes. I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. My life was simple and easy. A bit lonely but I liked it. It wasn't until I literally crashed into the one who would change my life forever. My world got turned upside down and everything changed. And he was in the middle of it all. I realized that the girl I was doesn't exist anymore. Although my life doesn't make any sense now, I know one thing. I wasn't living until I met him. __________________ "YOU ARE MINE AND MINE ALONE!!!" He yells at me as his grips tightens around my wrist. I wince from the pain but he doesn't notice it. "He better keep his hands off you or there will be consequences, this dagger is the only thing that can kill him for good" He whispers in my ear and laughs cruelly. "What are you going to do?" I ask. My voice nearly cracks. "I'm going to kill him" He says laughing and takes up a dagger. "No, please, no" I whisper. The tears roll down my face. He throws me down to the floor, then walks out with the dagger.
