Memories/flash backs of growning up, with my mother and her abusive partner.
My therapist said it wawoulbe good idea to write/type them up because it might help m6 brain process the truma better. I'm not sure if it's helping or not. Yet.
I suffer from PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and Insomnia.

Being Their Little Sister
It's been three years since Sophie moved in with her older brothers, it's been three years since her mother passed away and she has been growing and changing in the last three years. Sophie is about to be fifteen years old and has she get's older, she realizes how much her mother will miss out on. The future she has, her mother won't be around to see it. For the moment, My Older Brothers has been taken down for editing and I will start putting the chapters back up after I've edited the chapters. "I can't do it" I said "Come on baby you have to learn to fight for when I'm not here anymore, I won't be here to protect you" she said I turned to her "Mom this is too much why can't we just go back with dad" "Avianna! shut up and do it" she shouted I turned around and grabbed the gun in my trembling hands remembering everything my mom taught me on how to hold it I did just that. I held it up and aimed it at the target. "Ma I cant do it" I cried to her. Growing up hearing and seeing guns is one thing but to actually use one is a whole other thing She rolled her eyes "Avianna Erika Vega do you want me to go call Alejandro to encourage you?" "n-no! no ill do it" I said and turned back to the target Come on Avianna you can do it, just one little thing. I tried to control my breathing and tame my trembling hands, I aligned the gun to the target...... and I pulled the trigger. BOOM ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Avianna Vega has been through a lot throughout her fifteen years of life. From being taken from her dad and five brothers when she was just five years old. To being abused and brutally trained to kill by her step dad when she was just 7 years old. Her mom dying, causing her to runaway and change her name to not risk being found by her step dad. To her brothers finally finding her when she's fifteen and bringing her back home. Happy ending right? wrong. Shortly after finding out she has a neurological disorder called epilepsy, she is now faced with the fact that she has to find and kill her step dad AKA the man who traumatized her. yet throughout all this she still doesn't know who she is. I Remember
I decided to write this memoir for my kids. Kalina, Braylon and Bryce. I wanted them to know how I grew up and what all happened when I was a child. Maybe one day they can sit down and read this little book and remember MOMMA. I want to also apologize if this memoir offends any family member, every one has their memories of events in their lives. Let me tell mines as I lived them and as they were told to me by other family members during my lifetime. This book is filled with traumatic yet funny memories of my upbringing. It's a tell all from what I went through, in my eyes not anyone else's. Hope you enjoy reading this as I've enjoyed writing it. It's not meant to seek pity, instead it's written to shine light on the real problems of society. poverty, single moms, the damage due to drugs, incest, abuse and most of all, origins of brokenness.
