Eleanor Lovisa Bennett has never had any contact with the other gender as long as she can remember. She was born and brought up in a family of four girls raised by a single mother and studied in an all girls convent school.

And if that wasn't bad enough, she also suffers from a rare sleeping disorder called Narcolepsy.

So it's natural that going to a college where interaction with the other gender is bound to happen freaks her out. Moreover, her sister refuses to share a dorm room with her 'for her sake'. Her words.

Now enters in the scene Kai Swan. A lively college boy with a wide friend circle and easy going nature.

The biggest hit - His room is right next to Eleanor's!

It doesn't take an expert to collect that things are meant to clash between them two as they battle their own wars and find their way to each other every single time.

Eleanor, 19, is living on borrowed time. She's continuing her studies not out of passion, but more out of survival instinct. Not because she dreams of a brilliant career, but because the idea of failing-and having to go back home-makes her sick. Home is a house full of heavy silences, unspoken blame, and above all, a mother consumed by addiction. Their relationship is an emotional minefield. Though physically distant, Eleanor is never truly free. And every call, every message from her mother threatens to pull her back into the chaos she's desperate to escape. At college, she tries to hang on. Her only support is Wallace, her best friend since middle school. Always there. Tall, protective, destined for a pro career in basketball. Wallace is steady, radiant-the complete opposite of the world Eleanor comes from. He helps her stay afloat. Keeps her from drowning. Until one day, a figure appears in a campus hallway-and everything shifts. Danny Shepard. The name alone freezes her in place. It takes Eleanor a moment to recognize him: the scrawny, furious boy she knew at sixteen has become a man. Calmer. Darker. More... unreadable. After assaulting his sports coach, Danny was sentenced to juvenile detention and vanished for four years. On his return, he was denied entry into the third year of med school. He enrolled elsewhere, at the bottom rung of the university ladder. Where Eleanor studies. And he doesn't recognize her. She, on the other hand, never forgot. The bond they shared-fragile and secret, woven during adolescence through stolen glances and charged silences-left a mark. But Danny seems to have erased her. Why? Has he truly forgotten? Or has he buried that part of his life? Eleanor senses that behind the cold mask, there's a war raging. Repressed memories. A guilt that never properly healed.

She trusts everyone. She always sees the good in people. Not because she's naïve, but because she chooses to trust. Every time, she chooses to believe that people are more than their worst side. She's sensitive, emotional, radiant. And she's used to earning everything on her own. He's been burned by love. He's spent his life chasing the wrong person, skimming the surface so he wouldn't have to feel too much-because the only one who ever truly loved him left far too soon. He comes from an important family, from a world where the path is already set and choices are never truly free. She speaks with her heart in her hands, lets herself go, trusts him without knowing who he really is. And that throws him into crisis. He desires her, but he can't afford her. In his polished world, built on appearances and opportunism, Aurora is an anomaly. Almost like a magic lamp. She doesn't seek perfection. She doesn't demand excellence. She asks only for honesty. A sincerity he isn't capable of giving. Aurora has never felt interest in anyone-she's never been with any boy. Yet being close to him ignites desires and sensations she can't name. Tom is ironic, brilliant, magnetic. An arrogant show-off with freckles and a breathtaking smile. But behind those smiles there's something that doesn't add up. A shadow she senses without being able to define it. And yet she can't stop choosing him. Even when everyone around her keeps warning her.
