If there was one thing Spencer Quinn knew how to do, it was making coffee. That's why working at Lucinda's, a quaint coffee shop, was the perfect job for her. It kept her mind off her troubled mother, helped pay the rent for her apartment and her co-workers weren't that bad. But trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes, but this time she's making an effort to leave her past where it belongs so she can make it to college with a new life in sight. Though the unpredicted entrance of the famous Adam Kessler seems to bring along bumps in her path and she has to rethink whether believing in yesterday is worth it.

[Rewritten version of The Perfect Mistake.] 𝐻𝑒 𝑔𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑠. It's been eight years since Aurora 'Rory' Williams last saw Cage Trevor, the boy who stole her heart in one life-changing night. By morning he was gone, and she never heard from him again. Leaving her all alone in their hometown, Rushmore, to raise their twin boys by herself. Despite the endless struggles of single motherhood, she survived the last few years and thrived. Motivation from her expected failure from the whole town drove her to achieve great things; she became the owner of a house and a bakery called Sugar Rush. Rory was doing just fine on her own without the boy who wordlessly disappeared and never thought she would see him again. So what's a girl to do when the boy who broke her heart waltzes into her bakery out of the blue? She smashes a cupcake in his face and runs, of course! 80-90k words
