UNSC Task Force Centurion comes to the aid of Paleon, an outer colony facing the splintered remains of the since-collapsed Covenant Empire, the Sanctified Blades. With warships in orbit over the hostile excavation, preventing any aid to the besieged surface, local militias and private military are left to fend for themselves. Tasked with disrupting operations from within the blockade, the ODSTs of Fireteams Hammerhead, Gemsbok, Raider, and Spectre partake in hidden knife tactics against the shadow of an old foe.
