Phoebe was initially happy for Alek when her life-long friend excitedly showed her his new abilities. No longer would they spend lunchtime wallowing about their deteriorating sense of self-worth. No longer would they be struggling to fight for themselves in a cruel world. They had a defense. They were powerful.

The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
