My eyes narrowed while he just stood there smirking at me. He gently brushes away a few strands of grass from my cheek and I take a sharp breath from the explosion of sparks that races through my body.

His smirk grows as he notices my reaction to his touch. Slowly he bends and lifts me into his arms bridal style and carries me away from the sounds of the battle behind us. I don't concentrate on that though, my mind is too focused on the sparks erupting across my skin but he just smirks.
