The elleth being (y/n) Aredhel, daughter to Lord and Lady Aredhel-two of the most strongest guards in Lothlórien ruled by Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. They are soon sent off in a cabin in attempts to have them familiarize with each other. The two elves soon find out that not all challenges are found on the battlefield and that they had to work with each other to survive.

"I looked around to see what happened, until I saw the thing that feared me most this night." Legolas likes Tauriel, and Tauriel likes Legolas, but they don't know about the other's feelings. What would happen if a beautiful Elleth and a handsome Ellon get into these two's lives? Love can be complicated, and it takes time to find true love. But that is what true love really feels like, at least in the land of the woodland realm. This is my first story, so please enjoy!

The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies. How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). I am also including info about what happened to Thranduil's realm after the Hobbit from the LOTR book appendices...
