Phoenix Rain Dreger is a born immortal. Her kind is what humans call vampires, shape shifters, or mages. Phoenix happens to be one of the few who are gifted in all three areas. Phoenix herself isn't aware of the danger she's in. She doesn't know that her parents died trying to save her. She's just happily living out her life with chalk drawings, not-so-scary bed time stories, and children's rhymes. With her grandfather Ezera, her sworn protecter, she knows that nothing can hurt her until the day he dies. When that day comes, will she rise and become the leader she was born to be or perish at the hands of the wicked?

And phoenix will learn the ups and downs of a vampire and also learn to reunite both sides in order to defeat a common enemy. The only question is will she survive this nightmare.
