Synopsis

An ancient artifact has arisen within our history books -- The Grey Dagger. Where it came from, we don't know... until now. What will the legacy that 4 characters from 4 different timelines have to offer?
                                                                                               Reader Reviews

"Love all the names and your English is spot on!"
               -darkblonde1

"I appreciate writers who write about the times that they don't live in like you cause it it requires the knowledge about those times to make the story more real."
                                         - NieznanaZnana

"Great job, love the story-line and plot so far, I think that this is gonna be very good, Very creative to if I do say so myself, it reminds me of the Roman army, though I'm not sure if that's the point or not, I like the way you were very descriptive, keep up the good work!"
                                           -Goatwhiskers

"I like that ur book is historic. It's different from other books I read."
                                           -Purplestar137

"Well done! Historical genre isn't really my taste but this chapter really caught my attention. I'll keep on reading this"
                                         - Maryum_21

"I can picture that perfectly!"
                                          -keralee123

"The theme seems attractive, I like it :) "
                                               - EzmiaSight

"This is giving me a prince of Persia vibe lol kinda... but this is a great start. The intro is straight to the point."
                                                 - AymenJouini6

Long ago, before the Lutrosy Empire, powerhouse of the southern continent, there existed a small sect of priests who worshipped an unknown god of history. This god is said to have given onto it's few worshippers a piece of itself, The Tome of Past. The one who carries the tome is said to have been given a great mission. To collect the stories of the deceased to put into the tome. It is said by the ancient stories and the whispers of superstitious peasants that the tome grants an individual the ability to experience the past of the deceased. However, the Tome is thought to have been lost during the formation of the Lutrosy empire when King Francesco Severoth marched his armies to West Replure and conquered his brother's lands before unifying the middle of the southern continent. Now, with the tome becoming ancient legend, there are few who believe it existed at all. After all such a powerful artifact would have been found by now by the machinations of lore obsessed wizards or god inspired clerics yet it remains lost. But fate is a mysterious beast, a book that many powerful figures would risk their lives for ends up in the hands of a young man who knows not it's true value... Hi, I'm the creator of this story, I go by Flyingtelop as my online handle. I made an unfinished story awhile back that was really bad. I've returned with a vengeance though and learned more about writing. This is a significantly improved product from my other story, The Forest Of Madness. This story will not have a consistent upload schedule, I plan to put everything I have into this novel so each chapter will take a lot of time for me to complete. Each chapter will hold at least 10,000 words of hopefully decent quality. If a chapter's bad I will literally rewrite the chapter so it shows as much quality as I can muster - Flyingtelop

***FREE STORY***As World War One rages, in the quiet village of Trevannic, a young stranger washes up on the idyllic Cornish shore. His appearance and origins are a mystery. His Greek god muscular good looks and musical genius charms the little village but is there more to the German speaking visitor... A snapshot of comments from Wattpad readers: @NYCgal38 Wow! That was incredible...so hot! Hopefully her dreams come true... ;) I love imagining what her bedroom must be like. I'm given the impression that the room is a classic gem - gigantic with the fireplace to provide heat. Love the idea! This is an amazing beginning! It catches the reader's attention and holds it. Can't wait to re-read the rest! :) @ZVJSJD It's in this chapter where I can totally connect with [Jill], I am so like her! I've mentioned already but I'll say it once more, I love how you describe the scene, you're so detailed that makes me imagine everything perfectly. I have to agree with A @nycgal38 on her favorite part, when he unconsciously grabs [Jill's] hand!! Gave me goosebumps :) @TheVandiShow Such a bittersweet ending...This is a lovely short story you have completed. Your writing is to be envied. @ArineetiFan OH MY GOD! I LOVED EACH CHAPTER. I TRUST ALL THESE CHAPTERS ARE JUST SYNOPSIS OF FULL LENGTH OF STORY BECAUSE I DO WANT TO READ THE DETAIL OF THIS. IT FELT LIKE I WAS READING A CLASSIC NOVEL. YOUR WRITING IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, MY FRIEND. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS: ALL OF THEM. PLEASE FILL IN THE BLANKS IN THIS ONE, I WANT MORE!!! HOW COME NOBODY HAS READ IT BEFORE?
