Nothing ever lasts. Whether it be family, friends, or love.
For thousands of years, Able has been forced to live in the mortal world wit these disgusting and putrid humans. He was cursed for eternity all thanks to his brother. And unfortunately, his brother was cursed with him as well. After spending Millennias in Mesopotamia, he thought it was time for a change. He decided to travel somewhere else to get away from his past and from his brother. Finally, he found a new place to live and something else. Along with someone.
The year is 1876 in Strine, Texas. A young woman once came to town to become a teacher for small children.
Warning: violence, blood, gore, betrayal, curse words, death will be in the book.

She wanted to call him insane, to tell him he had the wrong person. But the way he looked at her-like he had waited lifetimes just for this moment-shook her to her core. He spoke of promises she didn't remember, of a past she couldn't recall. Yet, something inside her ached at his words, a strange sense of déjà vu wrapping around her like a ghostly embrace. What happens when a demon claims you as his lost lover, swearing that you once vowed to marry him?

'I will never be a wife much less yours,' she repeated in a terminal raspy but rather confident voice. He stared at her for a long time, internally simmering. The tension in the bedroom thickened greatly. Silence reigned as their stare down intensified. All in the room stood in trepidation, awaiting his eppy. 'Everyone,' he ordered in a calm yet jussive voice that betrayed the extremity of his anger. 'Out!' he finished. They all festinated out, skedaddling away as quickly as they could before anyone of them suffered from transfer of aggression. And when the door closed with a small click sound behind them, he drew her to him unexpectedly. 'You are mine,' he simply told her with surety before he lipped her. --- 🌫 She knew nothing, except that she wanted out, away from him-the beast. She knew not what she wanted, especially with a damaged head and fragmented memories. But, she just knew that she wanted nothing -absolutely nothing- to do with the monster that always left her in perplexity. --- 🌫 He wasn't what she thought he was. He was what she would never dream to think. He was a part of her and she was a part of him. He would never let her go.
