All she remembered last was the knife plunging into her back, poking through her chest and clothes. And then she woke up in Hell, in the middle of the road.

That was all Ace could process then.

Now, after years of her death, another demon had shown up, as peculiar as her. He had the ears and antlers of a deer, but the smile of a madman.

Something seemed off about him, not his voice, not his odd sadistic nature.

He seemed familiar.
