Travis grew up knowing a couple things. One of those things was that being gay was a sin, and that if you were gay, or anything like that, you're going to hell. Or at least, that's what he was told. But after an incident with Sal in the boys washroom, Travis starts to think that he might have been wrong the whole time. Just a quick warning, this is a pretty heavy story and contains things like abuse (both verbal and physical), drug use, suicidal thoughts and attempts, slurs and swearing. I'm adding trigger warnings but read carefully, don't force yourself to read anything you don't want to :) Otherwise enjoy the story!

Travis has a secret that he has to keep from his father in order to stay safe: he's in love with a boy. The boy he loves is insecure about himself, and hides the fact that he loves Travis back. The two boys have to date in secret. But everything changes when Travis's father finds out. Warning: Story contains abuse, swearing, slurs, homophobia, depression, suicidal thoughts and actions, and self harm.

TW - Suicide Sal Fisher is no stranger to dreams aluding to the future, or nightmares of the past. Usually the "prophetic dreams" of the future were distant. However, this dream was different. It was straight forward and he knew it was probably going to happen soon. He now fears for the life of a boy he would have never believed he'd fear for if you told him that a year ago. He fears for the life of Travis Phelps, the school bully. Between fear, looking hard for similarities between dreams and reality, and feelings he knows he feels but doesn't want, Sal Fisher now faces a challenge he never wanted to face. He just hopes he can change the ending when his dream comes true.

Travis struggles, a lot. It would be hilarious to say he is a kind boy to others except- he may be? He struggles with all the pressure from his family but will someone be there to help him? This is my first time attempting to write a long story! This is more of a comfort story so I probably won't be able to update it too often but I'll try my best. This story will take place during the time of the game and I'll try my best to make it as cannon as possible. Any feedback would be really helpful so please don't be scared to mention my mistakes bc i'm definitely not a great writer This is based off what I interpret Sal n Travis' relationship status to be before and after the note! Travis Phelps- the homophobic asshole that beat up the outsiders as a way to filter his own self hatred, stuck in an abusive household. He was miserable, gay and being suffocated by the grip of his father's religiousness. Sal Fisher- the new kid in town, the exact thing Travis hated. Gay and transgender, on the outside happy with his life. On the inside, dying from a heart disease and living with a verbally abusive alcoholic father. Both were miserable, though it was hardly obvious to outsiders. They were polar opposites yet the exact same. Brought together by the very same religiousness that was slowly killing them, the two are at first enemies. Though after growing together, they make a decision. They were going to run away. Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. When he moves to a new house and new school nothing really changes. He still gets bullied, he's still an outcast and his family still sucks. He goes on to live as usual. Then a bully who usually ignored him starts to pick on him more than usual and in very uncomfortable ways. Elliot tries to ignore what he does but, it gets harder everyday. Then one day, he does somthing that Elliot can't just say was natual, he can't say he saw it coming. He's scared and doesn't know what to do. What will happen if this keeps up?

When Scott meets Alex will his life be changed? Will he finally be happy? Or will he fall back into the dark hole of depression that he had been spiralling through for the last few years?

Travis Phelps is gay. It's one of the many things about himself that he hates, along with the chub he sees on his stomach that everyone else says isn't there and the dark roots of his hair that taint the blonde he dyes it. He calls the losers at his school "faggot" in hopes that one day he'll wake up and not be one himself. As though if he acts straight, it'll stick. After a while, the acting becomes easier, until he's almost convinced himself he really is straight. Until Sal Fisher comes to town, and suddenly, with his eye-catching blue hair and his odd face mask, he grasps Travis' heart tightly in his hand.
