What do you need to make this lemony drink?

2-1/4 cups sugar

5 cups water, divided

1 tablespoon grated lemon zest

1-3/4 cups lemon juice

1 cup light rum

Few ice cubes

Directions

In a pan, add sugar, 1 cup water and grated lemon zest. Cook till the sugar dissolves on medium heat. Turn this off and add lemon juice and remaining water. Pour this into a pitcher and let it chill.

Just before serving, stir in rum. Serve with lemon slices as garnish.

Black-Eyed Susan

A perfect mix of vodka, rum, pineapple and orange juices, Black-Eyed Susan is a great rum cocktail and popular too.

What you'd need to make this amazing cocktail?

1/2 to 3/4 cup crushed ice

1-ounce vodka

1-ounce light rum

1/2 ounce Triple Sec

2 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice

2 ounces of orange juice

Directions

In a glass, add ice and over this pour vodka, rum, Triple Sec and juices into the glass. Stir; serve with a lime slice and cherry. Simple, yet enticing!
