„She exhaled. "This doesn't feel like the kind of story they want." He smiled-slow, honest. "Good. Maybe for once, it's the kind of story we want." Reyna Torres is a bold, rising hip-hop artist known for her unapologetic lyrics and outspoken views on the industry-including her very public critiques of Eminem. When she lands a major label deal, she's shocked to find out her debut album will be executive produced by none other than him. Eminem isn't thrilled either. He thinks Reyna is all talk-more style than substance. She thinks he's a washed-up legend stuck in the past. Their first studio session nearly ends in a shouting match. But the label wants this collaboration. And despite their constant clashes, there's undeniable chemistry-in the booth and outside of it. What starts as professional tension evolves into creative fire. Their lyrical battles turn flirtatious. Late nights in the studio turn vulnerable. And both realize that behind the bravado are two artists scarred by their pasts, both just trying to be understood. As Reyna's fame rises and old wounds resurface for both of them, their relationship is tested in the spotlight. Can two people who swore they'd never mix business with emotion admit that what they've created together goes far beyond music?
