Hope Young is a 23 year old, living in LA. She's a selfish, self absorbed and cold-hearted person. She loves having the money, the clothes and the big house. At least that's what she tries to make everyone think, though the truth is, it's all just an act to stop anyone from getting close. But the question is; will she ever take that mask off and be the warm-hearted person she really is?
What happens when someone comes knocking on Hope's door; disguised as an innocent school girl, only for Hope to do what she always does and treats her just like every other person and slams the door in her face. Except what Hope didn't know is that this 'girl' isn't just any ordinary girl, in fact, she is a powerful witch and her name is Karma and she loves to find people like Hope to teach them a lesson; in hope to either change them or break them.
Hope didn't realise that the moment she slammed that door shut on Karma, was the moment her entire world would forever change as she gets pulled into the supernatural world that she never knew existed.
Once the witch curses Hope, she gives her 90 days to prove that she can be selfless, compassionate, fearless, loving, open, honest and most of all, forgiving and accepting, but in doing so, she will have to face all that she's been running from for the last 6 years, which means that she'll have to face what changed her into the closed off person that she became in the first place and with each bad thing that she does from day one will have a karmic consequence.
If she succeeds and becomes who she is destined to be by the final day, then the curse will break, but if she fails, she will die and the witch will entrap her soul for all eternity.
Will Hope survive Karma's curse and will she be able to cope with what she faces along the way, including the shocking truth about herself and those around her?
She may have 90 Days of Karma but with the help of her friends, each one starts to slowly get taken over by Hope.
This unexpected change in weather managed to turn my mood around badly.
I can't deny that I love rain, but when you have no place to dry up in after enjoying the raindrops as they pelt down against your skin, you can't help but dread the rainy days.
But, I guess I'm somewhat lucky, for the rain didn't decide to fall while I was making my way to 'The Heaven'.
And, as soon as I came to a stop in front of the store's door, I felt the first drop of rain fall onto my skin, and for the first time in my life, I looked up and made a wish before opening the door and stepping into a store that could help in deciding my fate.
