Calling Freddy Anderson a "lucky kid" would be a goddamn lie.
His mother is not giving a f*ck about him, nobody gets his pop-culure references, and his evil alter-ego (yeah, he has one) is a goddamn coward, who doesn't do anything, but cries every time, when he gets hurt.
And when he moved with his mom to another town, things are just getting worse.
In his new school, the student council president, who calls himself "Towntrap", outlawed all music activities. No bands, no radio music, no headphones, just a boring lessons of music history. And for someone, who's probably music addicted, like Freddy, that's probably the worst scenario ever!

But Frederick Alfred Vincent Anderson won't give up so easily!
With a help of a rebellious Chica, gay bully Bonnie, pacifistic giant Fox, rich asshole Golden, goth chick Joy, cinnamon roll Meg, teen Casanova Bon and shy geek Toddy, he will hijack this shithole, with ROCK!
So yeah, Freddy is not a "lucky teen"...
