The Hayman family, a wealthy upper class clan of African America witches, must fight to stay together  in a society where all magic and witches are known to the public. Greed, adultery, sibling rivalry, and prejudice are among the issues that threaten to test the family's faith and tear the Hayman's apart. 

The show is written along the lines of "True Blood" and "American Horror Story Coven". Or better yet "Dynasty" with witches. The series follows the powerful and wealthy Haymen family as they battle one another for the one thing they all hold dear, full control over the families magic and fortune.  Filled with all the backstabbing, manipulating fun of any prime time soap, "House of Voodoo" is grounded in the not so glamorous world that can be the deep south. Due to the current political climate I believe this story will not only resonate within the hearts of women, but hopefully across America as well. Thank you so much for your time

A generation of witches emerged in a world where two factions, the Druids and the Witches, held power over the Earth and its elements. The two High Strega, the last of their kind, devised a plan to protect their magic and revive the Witchline. The Goddess revealed a prophecy: when a daughter of Dark and a son of Light possessed the book, the Witchline would be restored. They separated, hiding their true power and passing the book from one High Strega to another across generations. Until now...

Even my daddy is a warlock when he's not moonlighting as a rat (a consequence of the aforementioned grandmother's temper). So you would think I would be a witch too, right? Nope. Not a spark of magic resides in my fingertips, and even worse, I'm beginning to think I'm allergic to magic. Kind of a big problem when you live in the middle of the most magical town in Mississippi. I'm just biding my time until I turn eighteen. Then, I can pack my bags and move out into the real world- with the normal humans.
