Odelle has always been different. In a village where everyone looks exactly alike, she sticks out. Not only does she differ in appearance, but also by her intentions in this world. While they want to slave the day away and keep their head down to fight another day, she longs to explore and figure out why she is the way she is. When it becomes too much for her, Odelle leaves home in search of two things; her father - even though her mother insists there never was one - and her destiny. Surely, there are answers to both.
Though, strange things are starting to happen; things Odelle can't even begin to explain. It feels as if she's running out of time, despite the world around her being calm. When she meets a mysterious man by the name of Darius, it all changes. Suddenly, it's not just her she's worried about. She must make the ultimate decision; restore order and make the ultimate sacrifice? Or risk everything just to be content and happy?
