Unknown Artist is a musical journey based upon its original soundtrack. When a song is mentioned or is appropriate to the story it will be available to hear at the start of the chapter.

Will and Alan are teachers. Will quite likes his job but Alan needs to get out. It just so happens that Will is a musical genius. When Alan finds one of Will's old demos on the drive home he is amazed. But Will's musical past is just that: his past.

When Alan uploads the demos to YouTube his life is turned upside down. Suddenly every man and his music producer wants to know the identity of the 'Unknown Artist'. But Will wants nothing to do with it. He's happy with the quiet life.

Could this be Alan's ticket out of teaching? If only it were his ticket. But what the world doesn't know...

New chapters will be uploaded on Tuesdays and Fridays. New musical tracks will be included when they are appropriate to or heard in the story. If you like what you read then please share so they can join us on the journey.

Morgan Hall is your average teenager. That is if you consider having a billionaire CEO of a world renowned company as a dad and a fashion designer of one of the most famous lines in the world as a mother average. Let's not leave out her singer/actress of a sister who's taking the world by storm. Morgan was no doubt born with a giant silver spoon in her mouth, but her life isn't always as perfect as it seems. Aaron Smith, quiet and reserved, admired my many for his good looks. He doesn't seem to associate himself with many people. Which is why it's so strange when he finds himself becoming friends with the rich, little, daddy's girl...at least that's what he thinks of her. Fate and chance are at work when they cross paths one afternoon on a bus. Throw in crazy lives and secret identities, and you get one hell of a ride on the road to self discovery. What Morgan doesn't know is that one stubborn move could land her a new friend, and possibly even more. ~~~~~ "It's amazing...magical even, how hearing one song can take you back to a single moment or a series of them, just so you can live it all over again," he said. "I think that's the best part about music. It's like time travel you know? Going back to the past, or sometimes even visualizing the future...what we could be." "What about the sad moments?" I asked softly. "Nobody wants to re-live those." "Maybe not, but that's the entirety of it," he answered, raising his hand to brush away the hair from my face before tucking it behind my ear. "There's always good in the bad, and bad in the good. Balance." His fingers trailed down my arm, sending shock waves through me. "Can I tell you something?" I asked softly. The corner of his lips curved upwards in a small smile. "You can tell me anything."

My name is Delaney and this is my story. I feel compelled to give you fair warning before you embark on my journey. It's messy. It's chock-full of terrible choices and split-second decisions filled with bad judgment. It's rough, complicated and angsty-but, hey, isn't that what real life is? You live and learn through experience. You (hopefully) mature and don't make the same mistakes twice. These, however, are tough lessons to learn when you're trying to navigate through. Sure, dear reader, you will have ideas of how I could've handled it all better-I know I certainly do, in retrospect. But, I'm me. I'm human. And to err is human, right? Isn't that the popular quote people love to use as an excuse? Well-there it is. Read my life story, I dare you, but remember you've been warned. The divorce of her parents does not come as a surprise to Delaney, however her mother's swift decision to relocate to Florida throws her for a loop. After enrolling in classes at university, she makes fast friends with Shane, the quintessentially perfect guy. Jaded by her past experiences with relationships, Shane completely confounds her. He represents everything Delaney believed didn't exist in real life; stability, security and good old-fashioned kindness. It should be effortless. With Shane, it's exactly the type of happily-ever-after story she loves to read, as well as write. Enter Fin: the edgy, risk-taking artist that unrelentingly captivates her attention. Soon after becoming her partner in literature class, he becomes her one and only copyeditor and most trusted confidant. Torn between two different worlds, Delaney stumbles through a range of decisions that lead her on an unexpected journey. She finds herself left with an impossible choice: A life of contentedness filled with ease and love or a passion-filled wild ride that leaves her breathless. However, Delaney also discovers that sometimes the seemingly unimportant everyday decisions end up making the choices for you...
