"Dear Kian,
I hate you. Yeah, I know, hates a strong word, but Kian Bing I absolutely hate you and everything you've become. I cant believe we were actually friends, but you were different back then, and I dont miss you. Not at all. You think I'm in love with you, I don't know why, because I don't know how many times I need to say this; I absolutely hate your guts. You may be the schools Bad Boy and the guy that everyone wants to be, and I may be the Queen B, the girl that everyone loves. But we will never, EVER, be together. No matter how bad everyone wants us to be.
With lots of love,
Lacey.
P.S. I wouldn't want to associate with a badboy like you anyways, except maybe your friend, Tanner was it? Give him my number, thanks."
_____
Lacey Rogers is the girl everyone wants to be or get with, shes pretty, funny, skinny, easy-going, all in all, she's perfect. She's the 'IT' girl, the Queen B, the Social Butterfly, and everything inbetween. Her life could be perfect if it weren't for one certain dark haired badboy.
Kian Bing is the guy that people fear but the girls swoon for, he's hot, sarcastic, loud, and arrogant, but whats a badboy without those features? Exactly. He gets into fights reguraly and gets revenge on anyone who wrongs him, but no matter what, he still has girls falling at his feet.
Everyone thinks that they'd be "totally the cutest couple EVER!" but Lacey disagrees while Kian laughs it off, which only irriates Lacey more. After Lacey's house burns down shes forced to move into the Bings house hold.
"How much more cliche can this get?"
"How much more do you want it to be, babe?"
Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door.
"What's wrong?" I asked innocently.
His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him."
"Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs.
The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine.
"Answer him," Avery murmured.
"Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine.
Avery's gaze flickered to my lips.
What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine.
Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak.
Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. He's the wide receiver for the high school football team.
Avery Prince is Mason's best friend. Avery has it all, popularity, star quarterback, and girls. What more could he want, right?
