Lapis is a wonderful artist and she's very shy with only a small group of friends, Peridot is the biggest nerd there as she majors and excels in science.
When these two get partnered up in science class on the day of the blood moon, and chemical reactions form catastrophic accidents that hit right where fear strikes, Peridot thinks things couldn't possibly get worse.
Until people - young and adult go missing every night a few weeks after the chemical accident, a few students go missing as well - including Lapis Lazuli, Connie Maheswaran, and Pearl.
Will Peridot Greene be able to solve this case before time runs out for everyone?
