The house was cold that night, everything seemed to be still. He still had some of the dark bruises from yesterday afternoon; though he wore a red long-sleeved shirt to cover them. The steps in the house began to creak, assuming it was either is mother or father from the weight of it.
"Tenko..?"
He heard a gentle voice slightly elevated from where he was at. He slowly turned his head to his mother away from the mirror he was looking into.
"Your skin looks very dry today."
Her gentle gaze looked into his eyes, making him almost feel slightly better.
"I know..."
She handed him a cold bottle of face moisturizer, along with a small tube of chapstick and lotion.
"Here, this should help. Your skin might have to do with your quirk"

An AU where the villains are the ones who take victory early on.
In this story, Quirks develop slightly later around 10-12. It makes more sense for Shigaraki to be thinking like this.

"Whats wrong?" Tenya questioned me "This is as far as i can go, these kids are safe" I got the students to safety, I could leave in peace. I turned to leave and Tenya grabbed my arm. "Oh no you don't, you're running because you're a villain aren't you?"
