This story picks up in the summer of 1984 after the death of Stef Foster's older brother, Frank, Jr. Callie, having experienced her mother's panic attacks from an early age, asked Lena to stay because she thinks her mom is having a breakdown from the sadness of everything that's happened over the past year.
