Ty blames her for going when he'd told her he wasn't happy about it, not the Job but the Person she was going with and he didn't trust him, neither did the family except Tim. She'd decided not to go ,but Tim pushed and bullied her until she did go much to Ty's disapproval which put a bigger strain on there relationship when the truth finally comes out on what Amy had been put through unbeknown to her.
