Eighteen year old Fae, Nadia is sworn to protect her home Valkri from the vile demons invading their once thriving magical world. Things take an odd turn in Nadias status when she rescues Prince Rone from a demon attack outside of their iron walls. Impressed with Nadias fearlessness and reputation, Queen Livina assigns Nadia to protect the naive Prince till he takes the crown as King.
    Nadia and Rone find themselves at an unlikely friendship, even though Rone often found every possible way to get under Nadias skin, there was an effortless Kindness Nadia wasn't used to. A refreshing presence she was eager to fill her time with.
   The people of Valkri don't have much time left and there are traitors at every corner trying to keep secrets buried. Valkri is dying from a curse so hateful and undying but just as all curses are casted, they can be uncasted by a higher power. A power that has been passed on for decades, protected till its time.
   
Blood will be spilled, love will be taken
