Andiron Garley Holten and Keith Evan Whiteraven have both lived in Teague, Texas their entire lives; in a neighborhood of mansions and people who live to be perfect, or at least pretend to be. Unfortunately for the two seventeen year olds, neither of them are perfect, and neither can ever live up to the standards set by those around them. So they spend their free time plotting against those they hate most, the people who take joy in hurting others in any way. They break into their houses, destroy their most precious and valuable items, and leave a little note explaining why, along with a single white feather. One day though, they take things too far and break into a house that has been abandoned for years, destroying the property of a person that they had never met, and who had done nothing wrong. They find a large, clear amber stone in a glass case, and once they break the glass and Andiron holds it up to his eyes, something goes wrong. As the nightmare unfolds and their wills are tested, Keith tries to get his friend back, and Andiron tries not to forget who he is, and what he was ever fighting for...

Clover Keith was 10 years old when it happened. Her ability to manipulate plants began and she had to learn how to live with it and use it. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
