A young boy in Japan, Kisao Nasei, was born with a very abnormal stomach condition that left the lining of it weaker than a normal healthy child's should be. At the age of seven, his parents made a seemingly unbeatable deal by selling him away for one billion yen and a guarantee of him getting a new stomach though they could never see him again. Being part of a group of cabbage farmers, money was not something that often saw a lot of so trying to normally pay for the surgery and operation, even with healthcare, was impossible for them let alone finding an organ match for him that wouldn't reject so quickly. Without much more discussion, his parents took the deal and led Kisao on to a life filled with otherworldly experiences.
