What Lies in the Shadows

Have you ever imagined what it would be like if a small civilization of humans was living in the shadows? Almost all of them coming from a very populated area? Arden's parents had always wondered what it would have been like. Arden's mother, father, and aunt started a small town in the middle of a shadowy forest, where Arden was born. As the word about the secret town got out, more and more people ventured out of their cities and towns in hopes to find a better life. But, what will happen when a teenage boy from the largest city around runs away after an argument with his family, and tests Arden's already short patience with his charming street smarts, and how will his presence effect the relationship between Arden and her best friend?
