I rolled my eyes at her as she laughed- no cackled.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

"Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell. "Do you have any idea how maddening you are?" Colton looks at me. "You don't think you're infuriating?" Colton asks. I narrow my eyes. He starts to walk towards the door. I grab the M&M's and chuck them at Colton. He whips around, his eyes blazing green. "Where the fuck are you going? We're talking!" I yell, crossing my arms. He rubs the back of his neck where the M&M's hit him. "You wanna talk? Fine. Let's talk," Colton says. "You're obviously messed up from all of the shit your mom did." "Maybe I am! It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. I am that girl. It's about her being so beautiful that everyone falls for her. In real life I am nothing like that, In these dances I nothing but that. As they dance aggressively yet gracefully, I saw my mother in the crowd. I blinked twice to get the image out of my head because she was gone and I didn't want crazy images of ghost in my head. She was gone. One of the boys looked at me like I was crazy because I missed my cue. Crap I thought as I did it quickly to make sure everything was ok. Luckily everything was ok and got off the stage. "What the hell just happened there?" the director asked, I ignore him and walked to my locker to get a danish and some water, he followed me, "Hey girls only." I said "I'm gay." He replied "And..." I answered He huffed and walked out the room. I smiled at his anger. Seeing the director get angry was always so funny. Yet he always gives me the lead roll.

The early morning sunlight was irritating me to open my eyes and as usual being lazy I was rubbing my eyes to adjust with bright sun rays. She stopped speaking and stared beside me disbelief and panic written all over her face and she just became mum and I was not understanding what she was exactly looking at and I followed her gaze only to find the half covered Rian(childhood friend of mine) sleeping peacefully with his mouth slightly open and I immediately got up from my bed only to get the another deadliest shock of my life and that is I am barely having any clothes and my mom looked at me and started calling dad "Mike... where are you? What are you doing? Come her soon" and while calling her tears escaped from her eyes and I too couldn't control my tears as I was unsure what I was seeing in front of me. As soon as my dad entered the room he was speechless to witness the scene in front of him. All this while I went to my wardrobe with my blurred vision due to tears and removed an oversized t-shirt and wore it only thinking that someone would come to my rescue to wake me up from this scary dream. "Brian... come out of your fucking dream world now" my dad shouted at Brian shaking his shoulder vigorously. "Good morning Uncle" Brian said as if he was unaware of the situation before him. Then he yawned and stretched his body and looked around and gave a confused look before fixing his gaze on me. I can say only one thing from his expression now.. He was horrified and got up in an instant to find himself in only an underwear. He looked at me and asked "How come I am sleeping in your room like this?" I was not understanding what to say as tears kept rolling onto my cheeks.
