The days before Christmas are filled with distracting activities like shopping, parties, etc which has unfortunately shifted the focus from the main object of this celebration - Christ Himself.
This book is my small effort at putting Christ back into Christmas.
It lists out the prayers which can be said during the Advent season which commences four Sundays before Christmas between Nov 27 to Dec 3 and lasts till Christmas Eve which falls on December 24.
Prayers listed are:
- Some general prayers for Advent
- Prayers with the advent wreath
- Prayers that can be prayed on Christmas
The prayers are picked up from various Catholic sites but the articles in between are all mine.

Here the reader can recite the Rosary, say the Lord's Prayer, use the prayer request to pray for a particular intention, etc. The book is intended to accompany the reader every day, to help him select the prayer request for the day, and to help him during his personal praying time. Through the prayer requests, the reader is encouraged to pray for people going through difficult situations in life and for them to discover and accept Christ in their lives. Falling for Santa's Son
Usually, people Carol's age are getting married, buying their first house, getting their first pet, etc. Her younger sister's doing all that. Good for her right? And she's doing it with Carol's ex. It has been a year since they broke up and he has been with her sister ever since and well, I'm sure you can guess the tea for that one. But it's Christmas time so 'tis the season to be jolly. She'll be seeing her two favorite people at the family reunion. Where she has promised everyone that she has happily moved on, and has someone to introduce to the family... except- she doesn't.
