Logan Gala was your average high school student. She had an over protective big brother Blake, two quirky best friends, Mandy and Lillian. Like most high schoolers Logan had an after school job, she was nanny. Logan had been babysitting for the Jones since her freshman year and unfortunately they had to move.

Logan needed a new job, she applied for a job with the Browns she got the job and started work immediately. The thing Logan didn't know about the Browns was they were not who they claimed to be. Logan just wanted a good paying after school job, she got way more than she bargained for.

And on top of all of that drama there's a boy who takes her breath away. In all of this drama and chaos how will 16 year old Logan react to these insane ordeals? Will she be able to keep her morals intact? Only time will tell and the decisions she makes will shape her future....

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. My breathing was ragged and I could smell the mold that was most likely covering most of the room. My hands were tied behind my back, my feet tied together and I was sitting on the floor, propped up against a wall. I heard a slight shuffling across the room that was coming closer to me. I tried my hardest to keep my breathing under control to seem confident and fearless, but in reality, I was shitting my pants and squealing like a scared little girl on the inside. To say I was terrified was a drastic understatement. I was petrified, shaking with fear, but they were not going to know that. "Who are you?!" I demanded. If I was going to die, it would be with the name of my kidnapper. A voice boomed closely to me, "Well, if I told you that, this wouldn't be any fun." **************** Skylar James, a 24 year old girl, is kidnapped by a very well known gang who has a vendetta against her family. In an attempt to find light in her situation, she makes friends with one of the members. Logan Grant was forced into the gang at the young age of 16. He was abused until he became emotionless and ruthless, so that one day, he could rule the gang. Everything was going smoothly until Skylar is brought in. With a blindfold wrapped around her head, he instantly feels bad for her, though he cannot show it. Afraid of getting caught, he shows no emotion while others are around. Though, behind closed doors is a whole other story.

You probably hear this all the time but she is honestly not your usual geek, she wants to beat that cliche label she is given. There is always something hidden beyond the brains. Ethan is surrounded by hot chicks and bad boys you know the usual, sex drugs and constant partying, whereas Bella is surrounded with one friend and a world full of knowledge. He gets what he wants; always! She's comfortable with life, and that is how she likes it, taking risks definitely isn't her thing. Ethan is forced to improve his grades by his parents and they are determined for him to start pulling his life together, will his plans of life come together or once again will his world rest in the hands of another. What will happen when Ethan gets Bella mixed up in his crazy world, what will she get out of helping him? It could shatter his reputation and it could ruin her life. **FAIR WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PATIENT WITH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, BUT IT IS THERE, AND WORTH THE READ. IF YOU ARE OVERLY SENSITIVE, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK* Logan Pierce and Noah Locke are sworn enemies. Both at the top of their class, holding themselves to the highest standards; both captains of their volleyball teams, Logan as the girls captain, Noah as the boys; and both constantly playing seemingly harmless pranks to get back at one another. Or, at least, they're usually harmless... If one thing is true, Noah Locke and Logan Pierce are not friends. But does that mean they could never be friends? Or transcend their title as enemies? Logan might take things too far sometimes, but there's a reason behind the angry front she puts on, and in order to get behind it, someone needs to show her that there's more to life than being the best at everything. Cue Noah Locke. When the two volleyball teams are sent away to a team bonding camp for a week over Fall break, Logan and Noah must learn to get along for the sake of their teams. Partnered up and made to do activities together and bond, the goal is for Noah and Logan to stop this ongoing feud. And when something happens at the bonding camp that brings Logan's vulnerable side up to bat, Noah is the one who has to bring her back. While Logan and Noah explore something other than hatred for one another, there are secrets and people who could be working in toll to bring them apart. But will they be able to transcend those factors and stop fighting for once? Or were they destined to be enemies forever? "Better Than You" challenges the idea that enemies have to stay enemies forever, and proves that if you don't run away from love, you may just find where you were meant to be.

It Started With A Run

Cameron Black is the school's nice guy. He has the perfect life. The perfect girlfriend, the perfect family. Nothing bad has ever really happened to him. Annabel Carter is quite the opposite. Nothing in her life is going her way. She's in a gang for a multitude of reasons and the only family she has is her twin brother. They don't even go to the same school. They're different on so many levels, it's ridiculous. So what happens when Cameron goes on a run after having the first real problem of his life and stumbles into the warehouse that Anna and her friends use as their headquarters? And what happens when they recruit Cameron to expose the people at his school for the awful people they are? • • Excerpt • • "So... basically you're telling me to figure out my friends' secrets and then stab them in the back by telling you guys so you can quote-unquote 'take them down'?" I said in a clipped tone. I don't really like being rude to anyone, especially not to the leader of a gang, seeing as I want to keep my life. This though was kind of absurd. "I mean... if you want to live of course," Tyson said trying to scare me. And let me tell you, it definitely worked. I still didn't understand why he even cared. I mean don't gangs only care about drugs and money? *POV's Alternate*
