A one shot about a romance revolving around a futuristic institute's cultural festival. As it is, even future soldiers have a normal high-school life. The story is set in the future, where children are trained from an early age, by the permission of their parents, (unless of course, they are orphans) to become Knights. They then become part of the military. Nina is such a child, who joined the V_ four years ago. She's infamous for her wild nature and blatant disregard of the rules and the Student Council. And then, by some blighted twist of fate, she finds herself a House Prefect. Enter Azerkin Schwann, suave, cool, mysterious and with a permanent train of fangirls. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath. And that's the least of her worries when Nina's fallen head over heels for Schwann. This is a work of fiction, and the characters introduced are purely fictional. Any resemblance in name or character is unintentional. Just sayin' since this is basically my first story using normal names and settings. The story is currently a one shot. Children of Adaygue Book 1: Mad World
Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. A world where magic once long ago filled the air, and was felt within everything, until humanity explored it's potential for power, destruction, and war. And with it came the true nature of it: Chaos, the source of magic. It nearly ripped apart creation, and thus, some legendary hero took sealed it away to protect the creation from destruction- Adaygue, Great Mother to everyone. She became the deity to protect magic, and her followers called herself "Children of Adaygue". 3135 years later, after countless of wars, magic flickers and loses its meaning. But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
