A pawn to Success

"Damian, please." I started pleading. I knew that what was about to come, couldn't be good.

As his hand gently reached toward the loose hair strands laying on my back, a cold shiver ran through my body. But he abruptly put an end to it with a harsh tug, forcing me to meet his intimidating gaze allover again.

There was no way I could hide my fear any longer. My body's trembling increased.

"So my threats did become empty after all, tsk and here I thought you finally learned your lesson." he spoke with a menacing tone, still holding my eyes captive with his.
"Why? What did I ever do to you? I don't understand." I tried to hold back the tears that were silently building up.
At this point he made me feel utterly small and pathetic.

However, I noticed my words reaching him in some kind of way. He suddenly let go of my hair and returned back to his seat, coldly staring out of the window again.
"Stop the car." he ordered the driver, who didn't seem to hear him the first time.
"Stop the damn car!" Damian now growled like a madman. Eventually making the panicked driver stop at the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere.
"Get out." he ordered calmly, while avoiding my confused expression.

I simply couldn't believe this was my life now.
