Ari just wants to get through college with no bumps in the road, but that all changes when her sister dares her to steal from Ash. When her world is flipped upside down, the last thing she needs is another complication in her life. That complication being Ash Garnett.

The only thing that can happen, Ash has to find Life an heir so that the universal scales stay balanced. With enemies hot on his heels, Ash is going to Harvard in Massachusetts to find a viable heir. He didn't expect to meet Ari though, but with Life dying, he can't afford to stray from his task. Ash has to work fast, but nothing goes to plan when a silly party game goes wrong.
With people wanting Life's rule to end permanently Ash and Ari must work together to keep the scales balanced.
