A Big Book of Short Stories
A collection of my ideas. While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. To "Just Another Nightmare," a story about a kind of hell you might never have thought of. This collection will likely make you question if something is wrong with me. Spoiler alert; there is. A scientist who had never believed in the supernatural had encountered an unusual experience that has begun to make him question reality. However, through an unnatural encounter he unravels strange ideas and hidden secrets of the universe that spiral him down into madness. Growing up in sleepy suburban towns have perks, but there's always something terrible bubbling beneath the surface. Story Description: 1. The Husband - Your husband has been acting a little strange lately at night. 2. The Neighbor - Your quiet home life suddenly gets really uncomfortable when you realize your elderly neighbor has been watching you through his window. 3. Public Restroom - You look back at your childhood to figure out where your fear of public restrooms came from. 4. The Screaming Woman (Pt. 1 & 2) - You wake up abruptly to sounds of a woman screaming only to be faced with your worst nightmare. 5. The People Upstairs - Your upstairs neighbors are loud and obnoxious without any regard to you. You become fed up with them until you realize what they've been dealing with.
