'Surges' have been appearing for the past four years, killing hundreds, thousands, millions in their wake. The locations of these uprisings and creature-like forms coming out, are seemingly random, and nobody knows whether they could be the ones sentenced into an apocalypse state. Sometimes minor villages, sometimes huge cities, but things can always go wrong. Everyone, and everything dies out there, one way, or another. You either die by the Surge itself, or you die from this apocalypse left behind. Everyone. Everyone dies out there. ---------------------- Frida is not normal. Well, a geeky adopted year twelve, with only a few random passions like the S.T.E.M, was bound to get her bullied in earlier years, and maybe now. Many cannot see through the lies. The surges, the apocalypse, the politics. The people around you. Frida's life was never perfect, or anything close. In fact, the more opposite she does, the closer ties she and her new group of friends can find to possibly save the world. A nerdy amputee. A boy with anxiety. An overprotective sister. Two sets of twins in the same family. And a winged Soldier. And of course, you know Frida from above all that. Top ranking/s of all time: #8 elemental #6 ice (Prinxiety implied even from the first chapter)

It's Millie's final year at university, however there seem to be more pressing matters than writing her dissertation and completing her uni work. Nothing unusual there. New supernaturals are on the scene- supernaturals that nobody seems to know anything about. But Millie has stronger ties to these individuals than she originally thought, and starts to realise that she's been part of a bigger plan for a very long time. Perhaps longer than she remembers. With seemingly no other option than to join forces and place her trust in the hands of people she barely knows, Millie has a number of tough decisions to make. And no, those decisions are not based upon the fate of the entire universe. Not all of them, anyway. Will Millie put her life at risk again to save those who she loves? Or will she decide to leave it in the hands of someone else? Find out in the (possible) final instalment of Argent Eye. ** Book 3 of the Argent Eye series ** ** contains some strong language **
