Set in the 1960s, love is the last thing on Jonathan's mind. Being an active member of the Black Panther Party, he is focused on racial equality and ensuring the safety of his community. This is turned upside when a young student catches his eye. Her afro, her skin, her voice. Everything seems too good to be true. But, his friends tell him to focus on the Party and the fight for liberation. Will there be a balance? Will love overpower him to forget about the Party?
