It has been three months since Ash's death. Three months since Eiji moved to Japan. Three months since Eiji lost his best friend. Eiji has been trying to get over Ash's death. Trying to move on, but with no luck. Everything reminds him of Ash and brings up old memories . His therapist recomends writing what he would say to Ash down, in attempt to move on... Here is his letter.

This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place. Ash and Eiji
Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. But now, after so long, after almost letting it all go every morning and night, how was he supposed to pick himself back up and just forget? He's been just as gone as Ash was.
