Link had become Zelda's appointed Knight very quickly, and everything he knew vanished before him when The Calamity hit. Zelda despised her body guard, a constant reminder of the Legend he could fill, but she could not.

It all changed, forcing their time together to meld into a love they were both longing.

All of their feelings, friends, and home vanished one day, when The Great Calamity hit.

Plagued by evocation, Link tries to find himself whilst defeating Ganon.

Will he fulfill his Triforce of Courage, or fall under the Phantoms of his past?

26 parts Complete Mature

Zelda doesn't believe in soulmates; Zelda barely even believes in herself. That is, until Link turns up with a sword strapped to his back, heralding the end of times. Now, they must work together to prevent the fall of Hyrule and rise of Calamity Ganon. But, the task proves as tricky as expected, especially when Zelda feels like she's falling faster than her Kingdom...and perhaps in a way she never expected to. Pre-game (and post-game, eventually) fic centred around Link's memories and what might've happened in between them.
