Robots have become a modern staple.
The Big Three, three mega-robotics companies, have set up a monopolistic control of the worldwide robotics market, selling everything from the most basic, task-oriented units to androids, the humanlike metallic jacks-of-all-trades.
	And then there is Veda.
She's young and the most gifted robotics engineer the world has ever seen. And the only thing about her equal to her intelligence with robotics is her reclusiveness. Unwilling to be recruited by the underhanded Big Three and turned into a researching and developing slave, Veda has hidden herself from the world since she could learn how to build a circuit. In her home, she has tinkered and built robots that the world has never known.....
But when a good friend of hers and a Head Roboticist at one of the Big Three goes missing and foul-play is suspected, a detective named Andrew comes to her door, hoping to get some information about this disappearance. What he finds is not the solution to a mystery, but a world of mechanical engineering that delves into the realms of taboo so deeply that he is caught up in the conspiracy of it all.
And more important than the task he originally set out to complete, Andrew meets a miraculous creation, something so new and different that it could change the world, or even the course of human history.
	His name is Sam.

IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ!: Though this story will remain up, it is not a polished product I'm all too proud of. Someday, some of the book's aspects may change; plot, some characters, etc. Think of this like a first draft, and I'm working on the not-first-draft. :D) Thank you so much for bearing with me, and I hope you enjoy I Am Not A Robot as it is, and as it will be! _____________ Bolts. The new-age phrase for robots. You may think that robots that can think for themselves is a bad idea. Well, so does the Government. Nobody knows the exact year. Or how long robots have been banned on punishment of death. All anybody knows is smoke, acid rain, and metal. And nobody thinks anything of it. Robots with minds as alive as yours being murdered in the slowest way possible? Normal. There are no uprisings. There are no rebellions. As far as everyday people go, the world is perfectly fine. As long as there are no robots. Because if there are, it's a kangaroo court on their fate. Aaran Sozos has spent the majority of her young life accused of being a robot. And as I'm sure you're aware, reader, if people call you something enough, you start to believe it. But when a classmate calls upon her help to find a missing brother, they need to search outside of the city. A city that is suspended above the earth. That is inhabited by robots. All I can tell you now is that they're doing a better job of keeping the mother nature happy than we ever could. But keep in mind, mother nature doesn't mind murder, either.

While heading out for an afternoon walk, before her evening tea, her and her friend Amelia discuss a fun outting with writer friend, Jazmine. Rebecca decides that she has work to do, and does not attend. While waiting for Jazmine, Amelia finds that she has gone missing. And who do they call? The new Watson and Sherlock Holmes of the century. Genius detective Benedict Cumberbrunch (Pun intended) and his intelligent associate Sarah Dragon. ****PRAISE FOR LITTLE BLUE WORLD**** "I am knocking, ringing, pounding, ringing, knocking, pounding, ringing, yelling, ringing, pounding, and screaming at you to finish the next chapter." ~Endpie, author of Curls, and 37 Days "YAAAAAAA...Y! I LIKe!" ~AxisBeyondTheNorth, author of Challenge "I am not a sociopath." ~Benedict Cumberbrunch, author of Everybody But INTJs, Don't Be Stupid, and The Art Of Deduction Genre: There are few cultural references such as Benedict Cumberbrunch being modeled after Benedict Cumberbatch and Sherlock Holmes. This story is not a fan fiction nor a humor. While there is comedic relief, that is most definitely not the motive of the story. The story is a drama and mystery/thriller. Rating: The story does describe crimes. No details more than Law and Order: SVU. Barely that descriptive. **So in basic, I wrote a crime book thats fictional. I say that its fictional because I don't want people thinking that Benedict Cumberbatch is my best friend or that I actually lived such an experience.** This book is dedicated to the women and men that have died in the police force. This book is also dedicated to the families and actual women, men, and children victimized by violent crime. Also, to those who suffer from a mental illness.
