An ancient war, one which nearly destroyed humanity once before, and forgotten by all but few threatens to destroy a humanity which has forgotten the true evil. Michael is a top student of the Central Academy in Maywood, in a world now acceptant and rewarding of Duel Monsters. However, his memories and soul shattered from the murder of his closest friend, and determined to find answers from his mentor and leader of the Phearos Order, an organisation as old as the unspoken war itself. But old nightmares from the past return with a vengeance, and threaten to plunge him and the world into a war of unspeakable terror.
